ORCHESTRA Security, Privacy & UAE Considerations
SECURITY · PRIVACY · GOVERNANCE
Make data responsibilities explicit.
Security and privacy must be demonstrated by the deployed controls, contracts and operating procedures—not by marketing language. This page explains the UAE considerations relevant to evaluating ORCHESTRA and identifies details to confirm before production use.
What should be confirmed before onboarding sensitive records?
Hosting & data location
Confirm hosting region, backups, disaster recovery locations, subprocessors and any cross-border transfer before uploading personal or health information. The current hosting location has not been independently verified on this page.
Access & accountability
Obtain evidence for role-based access, administrator controls, authentication, audit logging, session management and periodic access reviews. Availability and configuration must be confirmed for the specific deployment.
Encryption & resilience
Request technical confirmation of encryption in transit and at rest, backup frequency, restore testing, recovery objectives, vulnerability management and incident response. These are verification items, not unverified product claims.
Data lifecycle
Agree data minimisation, retention schedules, export formats, deletion, legal holds, ownership and secure disposal in the contract and operating procedure.
Third parties & AI
Review processor agreements, subprocessors, AI-provider terms, whether submitted data is used for model training, data residency and the categories of information permitted in AI prompts.
Customer responsibilities
Facilities must determine lawful basis, notices, access permissions, retention, incident escalation and authority-specific obligations with their legal and information-security teams.
UAE laws and guidance to assess
- UAE Personal Data Protection Law — Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, subject to its scope and exclusions.
- Federal Law No. 2 of 2019 on ICT in the Health Fields and related rules for health information.
- Abu Dhabi DoH AAMEN / ADHICS where applicable to the facility, service provider and deployment.
- Applicable DHA, DoH, MOHAP, other emirate requirements, contracts and health-data transfer rules must be assessed for the actual use case.
This is general product-evaluation information, not legal advice or a certification statement. No claim is made here that ORCHESTRA is ADHICS-certified, authority-approved, or independently security-audited. Confirm the applicable requirements with qualified counsel and the relevant authority.
